Today was Marios Birthday Party! I can't believe this kid is 8 years old already. It feels like yesterday when Liz was explaining why she couldn't have a glass of wine at dinner on Valentines Day, but thats a story for another day!!I really can't say that i remember anything specific about 8 years old, but I bet it was a great age! Anyway It turned out to be a beautiful day, It started out scary and stormy but the sun came out and it ended up being beautiful!!! Billy had a lot of fun with the camera, as usual! Needed to share....

I needed to share these with someone! I wanted flip flops for my reception, If you know me , you know my flip flop fetish is out of control! I was searching and searching for that special flip flop for my special day, and honestly the search was insane, but i finally found a pair loved them couldn't wait to get them, they get here and they are all wrong for me. I wanted something sparkley, on a 3-4" heel - i am short and i love a wedged flip flop! So needless to say I was disapointed, I found another website where this awesome girl puts swarovski crystals on anything even flip flops but she will only put them "Haviannas" well thats great but their highest heel is only 1 1/2" so they were pointless for me. So anyway friday night I got this idea, I had bought a pair of flip flops from Victorias Secret and they were $6.99, so they had just been sitting here unused so my creativity started flowing! If I had messed them up worst thing was I would be out $6.99, so I gave it a shot! LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!!!!!

So Remember I mentioned that this is the year of "the weddings" Well we went to a beautiful wedding this last weekend. It was truley beautiful! The ceremony took place in a garden and the reception was in this beutiful garden house. I just have to say I have never had such a pleasant evening. The weather was georgeous and quite cool for July - typicallly I dread July weddings. The heat is ridiculous, the humidity is normally so gross! I am a hairdresser and the worst is when people want their hair done for a July wedding, you know from the moment they book that updo their hair is in for the worst hair day ever!!! However I must say I was wrong about this day because it was so nice, I myself was shocked! After all my crazy dilemmas about what to wear??? what jewelry??? what purse??? Which of the four pairs of shoes that I purchased will be perfect??? I think I was more crazed and particular about this wedding then I have been about my own, but actually maybe this craziness was a preview, just a little taste of what I will be like on my wedding day! I was crazy, and it was SCARY! However it was Ray and Jenns Day and everything turned out to be perfect even my shoes!!!! Billys friend Ray and his new wife Jen really made this day extra special! I wish them both happiness and luck in their new lives together!

Photo Session

One of my oldest and dearest friends has this awesome talent for taking pictures. We have decided she should most definately be taking our pictures at all times! Ha Ha - If we had time we would have so many more but we spent the morning of July fourth in a photo session with her and we seriously had the best time. I have never seen us smile so much and our pictures look awesome Thanks to her awesome sense of humor. If anyone is looking for a photographer I must tell you she is so your girl! Weddings

It seems to be that everyone, including my fiance and I are getting married this year! This year alone ,including our own, we will have attended 5 weddings. Usually we go to one or two a year, but this year would have to be the year that we and everyone else decided to tie the knot! I am excited for us and for everyone else too! I think this is so exciting though, we get to take all of our relationships to the next level and become "married couples" as oppossed to just girlfriend and boyfriend! I feel like we are joining the adult team or something like that!! Well just in case you were wondering who has gotten married - here are some pics from the first wedding of the year!
